Swapna is the founder and the artistic director of Nrityataranga dance academy.
Established in 2006 with a vision to promote Indian classical dance style, Bharatanatyam. She is originally from Mumbai, India and have completed Masters of Performing Arts from prestigious Nalanda Dance Research Centre, affiliated to Mumbai University.
For more than a decade, Swapna has been choreographing, performing and teaching Bharatanatyam in Melbourne, Hong Kong, Singapore and India.
She has also completed Masters in Teaching from Melbourne University and works as Early Childhood Teacher in sessional kindergarten/ pre-school.
